Faculty-Partner Roundtable for Convenings and Community Dialogue
Since its launch in 2018, the Faculty-Partner Roundtable has grown into a dynamic space for relationship-building, shared learning, and collective action. Faculty, staff, students, and community partners come together to exchange expertise, strengthen reciprocal partnerships, and explore collaborative opportunities that benefit both the university and the communities we serve.
Convened by CEEL, the Faculty-Partner Roundtable creates space for meaningful dialogue among educators, nonprofit leaders, public agencies, schools, and community organizations. Together, participants explore shared goals, identify opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen partnerships that contribute to community well-being.
What to Expect
The roundtable is intentionally designed to encourage authentic conversation and relationship-building across sectors. Through a series of facilitated 15-minute conversations, participants have the opportunity to learn from one another, identify shared interests, and begin developing partnerships that extend beyond the event.

Faculty and staff often attend to identify partners for research collaborations, internships, guest speaking, and community-based projects.
Community organizations join to expand their networks, recruit student interns or volunteers, and collaborate on initiatives that respond to community-identified priorities such as education, mental health, workforce development, and social services.
Impact
Beyond attendance, the Roundtable has cultivated long-term relationships that have resulted in community-engaged courses, student internships, collaborative research, service initiatives, and sustained partnerships across the region.
