Community Connections at ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ (CCLU)
In collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) in Joliet, CEEL hosts Community Connections at ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ (CCLU). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living and career-related, social-emotional, and academic skills through twice-weekly engagement on ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ University’s campus. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ faculty and students and provides participants with opportunities to engage in the life of the university.
Community Connections at ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ (CCLU) is hosted by Community Engagement and Experiential Learning in collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living skills through career-related, social-emotional, and academic skill-building activities.
Participants meet on the ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ campus twice a week to engage in classroom learning and participate in university life, including special events and student organizations. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ faculty and students.
