ISO Invites Dr. Jake Cho as Subject Expert

International Organization for Standardization Invites ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓÆµ Faculty as Subject Expert

Intelligence Traffic System international standards will now have a ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓÆµ assistant professor of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences contributing to its creation.

Dr. Jake Cho was recently invited to join as a new committer for the relating to the intelligence traffic system.

For the past year, Dr. Cho has been advising on security control for the intelligence traffic system as part of the smart city requirements for the ISO TC204 (Nomadic Device Systems). He has now been honored to collaborate on the committee itself to review and define international standards.

Their country’s national standards body appoints contributors for ISO as they work within specific technical committees to draft, review, and vote on standards that support innovation and tackle global challenges. International standards ensure that the products and services used daily are not only safe and reliable, but also of high quality.

These standards guide businesses to adopt sustainable and ethical practices that benefit future performance and the health of the planet.
