The ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓÆµ baseball team ended their 2025 season with a loss in the DII National Tournament to No.2 Grand Valley Saturday (May 17)TEAM RECORDSGrand Valley 42-13 | ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓÆµ 37-18SUMMARYThe Flyers scored first in the game, putting up two runs in the top of the first inning with a (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) lead-off walk and a (Chicago, Ill./Marist) two-run home run his 24th round-tripper of the season. In the seventh inning (Plainfield, Ill/Parkland CC) had a RBI triple which scored (St. Charles, Ill/Lenoir Rhyne), concluding the scoring for the Flyers. Grand Valley scored in every inning except the eighth and ninth.This season saw the Flyers accumulate a collection of achievements and awards, headlined by their achievement of becoming GLVC Regular Season Champions for the first time since 2013.Head Coach recorded his 100th career win in a 12-11 contest against Missouri-St. Louis and was named GLVC and NCBWA Midwest Coach of the Year. (Beach Park, Ill./UNC-Pembroke) was named GLVC and NCBWA Midwest Region Player of the Year and (Bolingbrook, Ill./Eckerd College) was named GLVC Pitcher of the Year.
